Dr. Khan graduated with honors from Ross University School of medicine and during his time in school was active as an EMT helping to provide care to his classmates and faculty. Dr. Khan completed his residency in family medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s Family Medicine Residency at CentraState Medical Center. He went on to complete a geriatric fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s Geriatric fellowship at CentraState Medical Center and is a certified medical director with the Society for Post-Acute and Long Term Care Medicine. Dr. Khan holds board certifications in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. His interests include geriatrics, advanced care planning, and alternative medicine.
Lauren Kessler began her career in healthcare 13 years ago, after receiving her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Policy Studies from Syracuse University, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. That was followed, soon after, with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and Policy, as well as a specialization in Gerontology from Baruch College, School of Public Affairs. Kessler’s healthcare career includes holding positions as Chief Operations Officer of an Assisted Living/Independent Living Company, Assistant Executive Director of a Continuing Retirement Community, and Assistant Administrator and Administrator in Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facilities in New York and New Jersey. She joined Bartley in November 2014, and during her time, has acted as the Assistant Administrator and Administrator of Bartley Healthcare, as well as Executive Director of the Orchards at Bartley Assisted Living. Kessler also manages the campus memory care programming, as well as Bartley at Home. She is committed to making a difference in the lives of our residents.
Danielle Batesko is the Wellness Director at The Orchards at Bartley Assisted Living and has previously served as the interim Director of Nursing for Bartley Nursing and Rehabilitation. Batesko earned her RN nursing degree from Ocean County College and worked at a local hospital as a charge nurse on a med/surgical unit for several years. She’s been employed by Bartley Healthcare since 1987, starting as a staff nurse on the long-term care units then moving to the role of charge nurse. She was then the Assistant Director of Nursing for several years, responsible for education and employee health.
Jalen Ramos is a Rutgers University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Planning and Public Policy with a concentration in Healthcare Administration. He graduated Rutgers as a Division 1 Athlete which has provided him with an experienced level of discipline and hard work. Ramos has worked his way into this position by starting out as an Administrator in Training, then to Assistant Executive Director and now Executive Director. He joined the Bartley Healthcare team in May of 2016 and has been an excellent and knowledgeable asset to the Bartley campus. Healthcare has been a passion of Ramos his entire life and he strives to maintain a high quality of living for all the residents at the Orchards. Ramos is also very involved in the Healthcare Association of New Jersey as he is the New Jersey representative for the Future Leaders Program for the 2019-2020 class. He has used his experience and leadership skills to ensure his team is delivering quality compassionate care that meets the needs of the residents in a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
