Our Story of Leadership and Legacy
In 1984, Bartley Healthcare’s founders recognized the need for quality long-term care in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. They set out to create skilled nursing healthcare services by focusing on this simple concept: Treat residents, patients and their families as they would their own family. Bartley Healthcare opened in 1985 with a 120-bed Skilled Nursing facility. Within 10 years, we expanded to include an additional 62 skilled nursing beds and a 48-bed Post-Acute and Rehabilitation unit. In 2001, we expanded our continuum of care services on the Bartley campus. The Bartley campus now includes three buildings offering long-term care, Post-Acute and Rehabilitation services, palliative care and physician services.
